This year “Songs In The Key Of Life”, Stevie Wonder’s celebrated masterpiece and his biggest selling album, will see its 40th release anniversary.

The 70s was without a doubt Stevie’s most creative and most successful period and included the albums Talking Book, Innervisions, Songs in the Key of Life and Hotter than July. Songs like You Are The Sunshine Of My Life, Blame It On The Sun, I Believe, Sir Duke, As, Superstition, Higher Ground, Master Blaster (Jammin’), Pastime Paradise, I Wish, Happy Birthday and Isn’t She Lovely. His 70s creations will be the backbone of this tribute concert.

The music of Stevie Wonder will fill the Eldborg hall and there to sing his most famous songs will be Stefán Hilmarsson, Páll Rósinkranz and Eyþór Ingi, all of whom are considered to be among Iceland’s best soul, pop and rock singers.

The band includes Þórir Úlfarsson, Kjartan Valdemarsson, Eiður Arnarsson, Þorvaldur Bjarni Þorvaldsson, Einar Valur Scheving, Jóhann Hjörleifsson, Samúel Jón Samúelsson, Kjartan Hákonarson, Óskar Guðjónsson and backing vocalist. All are among Iceland’s foremost musicians in the soul, rock or pop genres.
