Framúrstefnulistamenn fá óvænt nýtt hlutverk í kvikmyndinni Angels of Revolution. Myndin gerist skömmu eftir að kommúnisminn hefur tekið völdin í Rússlandi. Í nýjum heimi Sovétríkjanna þurfa fimm listamenn, ljóðskáld, leikari, arkitekt og leikstjóri, að taka þátt í að treysta völd hins nýja ríkis.
