Bassist Þorgrímur Jónsson brings a group of fellow musicians to honour the works of the bassplayer, bandleader and composer Charlie Haden who passed away in 2014. Haden is probably best known for his role in Ornette Coleman’s band as well as running his own orchestra, The Liberation Music Orchestra. The concert will feature some of Haden’s compositions whose carrier spanned almost 60 years.
