The Icelandic singer/songwriter Fabúla is known for her playful, tender and captivating music and theatrical staging and scenery.

Her music does not fall easily into one category, being equally influenced by jazz, folk and contemporary pop. She has a distinct sound that is fragile, warm and full of little details.

As a lyricist she writes both in English and Icelandic, metaphorical and intimate lyrics.

Celebrating four solo albums and 20 years in music, she will on the 30 th of November give a unique concert in the old, majestic cinema “Gamla bíó” in Ingólfsstræti 2a.

Band: Unnur Birna Björnsdóttir – violin/vocals Birkir Rafn Gíslason – guitar, Jökull Jörgensen – bass, Scott McLemore drums and percussion, Fabúla vocals/piano.

Guests – Kjartan Valdemarsson – piano, Egill Ólafsson singer/songwriter, Guðmundur Elías Knudsen – dancer, Angela Eaton actress/singer.
