ZHdK Strings is an international string ensemble consisting of 20 students of the Zürich University of the Arts.  Its founder and leader is Prof. Rudolf Koelman, former concertmaster of the Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam and one of the last pupils of the famous violinist Jascha Heifetz.  The ensemble has held many concerts in Switzerland and has travelled abroad on concert tours in Italy, Turkey, South Korea and Thailand.
