The Women´s Choir of Reykjavík is starting their 25th anniversary with a new years Gala-concert in Harpa Concert Hall on January 13th. Special guest is Þóra Einarsdóttir soprano and a band.  On the programme is classical Vienna music, for example Trinklied from La Traviata, Radetzky March, The Nuns choir from Casanova and On The blue Danube. Also pop music, My Way, Bohemian Rapsody and the bittersweet Mutter by Rammstein to name a few. The concert will be held in the Norðuljós hall at Harpa. The choir promises a magical, festive and colourful event. The Women´s Choir of Reykjavík has a reputation of being ambitious and disciplined with a brave choice of music. The choir has 56 singers and the choirmaster is Ágota Joó
