Isabelle, listakona og fráskilin móðir á sextugs aldri, á ákaflega erfitt með að fá og hvað þá vita hvað það er sem hún vill út úr lífinu. Myndin fjallar af listilegu innsæi um hversu flókið lífið og sambönd milli fólks geta verið þar sem áhorfandinn fylgist með leit Isabellu að sannri ást.

Myndin opnaði Directors’ Fortnight flokkinn á Cannes kvikmyndahátíðinni árið 2017 og vann hin eftirsóttu SACD verðlaun á hátíðinni.

Isabelle is a 50-something artist and divorced mother who has an extremely hard time getting, let alone knowing, what she wants. The film is incredibly perceptive about the very complicated lives and relationships we lead as Isabelle searches for true love at last.

The film opened the Directors’ Fortnight section of the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. At Cannes in won the SACD Award.
