James Morrison is a Brit Award Winner who first came to prominence in 2006 as a 21 year old, with his hugely successful debut album ‘Undiscovered’ which debuted at #1 in the UK album charts, following the success of his smash hit single ‘You Give Me Something’. It went on to become a success all over the world.

James became the best selling solo male artist that year and was also Brit nominated for ‘Best British Breakthrough Act’ and ‘Best Single’.

The album went on to deliver memorable hits in the shape of ‘Wonderful World’, ‘The Pieces Don’t Fit Anymore’ and the title track ‘Undiscovered’. It sold 3 million copies around the world.

His 2nd album ‘Songs For You Truths For Me’, was released in 2008 and was also a massive seller. Combined sales of both albums now total 5 million.

As well as the debut hit off the album ‘You Make It Real’, James also scored with ‘Nothing Ever Hurt Like You’, ‘Please Don’t Stop The Rain’ and the massive million- selling single ‘Broken Strings’, a duet with Nelly Furtado.

Following an 18 month world tour for album 3, ‘The Awakening’ , written in the wake of his father’s death and released off the back of the global hit ‘I Won’t Let You Go’ in 2011, James took a short break to spend time with his close family.

James is looking forward to taking the new songs out live and said “I feel like I’ve been locked away for a long time, but now I’m out again and looking forward to playing my new songs. I’ve just finished the album, experimented a bit and gone to some new places, and it’s my best ever.”
